CENTRAL PAMIR, MT. PEAK LENIN (7134ms)

Mt. Peak Lenina was explored in 1871 by a Russian geographer Alexei Fedchenko. He named the mountain for Russia's Governor of the day, Kaufman. In 1928 the mountain was given the name, Peak Lenina.

The northern slopes, when covered with a sufficient amount of snow, are good for skiing.

Ski descent from the summit falls under the category of skiextreme and is not included in this catalogue. However, it may also be organized on request. In the latter case, please contact us week in advance.

ITINERARY

Day 1	Arrival in Bishkek (or Tashkent). transfer by airplane Bishkek to Osh. Accommodation at the hotel.
Day 2	Transfer by special coach to Achik-Tash base camp (3600ms).
Day 3	acclimatization. Preparation for the ascent.
Day 4	Full day on the glacier & Acclimatization. Back to base.
Day 5-15	Ascent to peak Lenin.
Day 16	Return to base camp.
Day 17	Rest.
Day 18	Transfer by special coach to Osh. Accommodation. Rest.
Day 19	Transfer to Bishkek. Accommodation.
Day 20	Departure from Bishkek.

The price includes: visas supports, accommodation in double tents and double rooms, 3 meals a day, porters (12 kilos of cargo p/p). Full transfers, rent of necessary equipments.

Not included: visas Kyrghyztan, license for ascent and local fees. Licenses for ascent on tops over 7000 m. - 100 S/pax.
