ITINERARY
| Day 1 |
Arrival in airport of the Ashgabad (or Meeting of the
group at the Iran border
"Gaudar/Badjigiran" from 11.oo-12.00, removal to shgabad),Accommodation
at the Hotel. Excursion to the Museum of History. |
| Day 2 |
Breakfast. An excursion to the ancient city Nisa & Museum of
history. Then go to Mary( km. hours). Accommodation at the hotel "Sanjar". |
| Day 3 |
Breakfast. An excursion to the monuments of the ancient Merv &
Mu seum of History. Back to Mary. Hotel. |
| Day 4 |
Breakfast. Transfer to Boukhara via Cherjev-Farab.Accommodation. |

Transfer from Tashkent to Bishkek takes 9-10 hrs (560 km),it goes
via
big cities- Chimkent and Djambul. The most part of the way goes along
the territory of Kazakstan. Closer to Bishkek grandiose mountains
of
Kirziskiy range appear with the summits covered by snow. Lunch on
the way. |
| Day 12 |
Sightseeing in Bishkek visit of historical-architectural complex
Burana Tower, situated 70 km from Bishkek; house-museum of Frunzer,
historical museum, the museum of Arts, Ala-Too and Pobeda (Victory)
Squares, Dubovoi and Panfilova Parks, bazaar. |
| Day 13 |
Transfer from Bishkek to Almaty takes 4 hours (270 km). The road
goes
along Zaaminskiy Alatau range. Upon arrival in Almaty checking in
the
hotel. Sightseeing, including visit park of 28 Panfilovtsev, wooden
cathedral, St Nikolai church, museum of musical instruments. |
| Day 14 |
Visit high-mountainous skating rink Medeo and landslide-protective
dam, situated in the mountains of Zailiiskiy Alatau at the altitude
of
1690 m. Light walk and picnic. P.M. free time. |
| Day 15 |
Departure from Almaty. |
Silk Tour in Termez
| Day 1 |
Transfer from Bukhara (Samarkand) to Termez (390 km).
The road goes via Guzar, Sherabad city along a big Uzbek highway.
On this day you will see gigantic – one thousand year chinar (platan)
and medical mineral spring in the settlement sairob. Upon arrival
checking in the hotel. |
| Day 2 |
Sightseen includes visit necropolis of the founder of Dervish order”Khakimi”
– saint Khakimi Thermezi of the 9th century, buddist monastery complex
of Kara Tepe and mausoleum Fayaz Tepe, necropolis of the dynasty of
Thermez rulers – Sultan-Saodat. |

ITINERARY

Visit to the Kyrghyz National Park (30 km. ). Picnic.
TRIP to the historical complex of the BURANA TAWER (XIc. ). Arrival

By air from Bishkek to the city of Turkestan. Tour in the historical
complex of the Hoja Akhmad Yassawi Mausoleum (XIV c. ). Overnight.

Transfer by bus from Turkestan to Tashkent. On the way visit to
the Mausoleum of Arsian Bab (spiritual teacher of Yassawi). Also continue
TRIPs to the ruins of Otrar, the ancient city of the Great Silk Road.

FROM SAMARKAND THROUGH FERGANA
VALLEY TO KASGAR
ITINERARY
| Day 1 |
Transfer from Samarkand till Fergana via Kokand (600 km). The
way goes through Djizak city and turns almost due to the East along
Turkestanskiy range. On this day you will twice cross Uzbek-Tajik
border. Upon arrival in Kokand lunch and SS to Khodoayr-Khan Palace,
visit ethnografical museum Arrival in Fergana in the evening. |
| Day 2 |
SS to Silk factory in Margilan with hand technology of silk production.
You will see all stages of the production, beginning from making
silk threads from cocoons of silk worms and finishing with visit
of weaving-room. In the shop of this factory you can buy silk articles,
made here in the factory. Then, transfer to Rishtan for SS to ceramic
factory. You get acquainted with the technology of ceramic production.
Visit handicrafts, where people still draw ceramic articles by hands.
Here you can also purchase earthen toys and laygans - big earthen
plates. Return to Fergana. |
| Day 3 |
SS to Shahimardan. Shahimardan village is situated 80 km to the
South from Fergana in mountainous foot of Alaiskiy range at the
bank of Shahimardan river. Plenty of picturesque villages and apple
gardens are on the road from Fergana to Shahimardan. Three kilometers
up the road takes you to Kurban-kul lake, which considered to be
a holly among Moslem people. You will be satisfied with small walks
round the lake as well as panorama of the mountains. Picnic-lunch
down at the ski-lift chairs at the bank of Shant river. transfer
to Osh via Kizil-Kiaya, it is famous that near the settlement of
primitive man was found. |
| Day 4 |
Transfer to Karakul (300 km). On this day you will leave the mountains
of Pamiro-Alai and move to another mountainous «country» - Tien-Shan.
Overnight in a small hotel. |
| Day 5 |
Transfer to Suusamirskaya valley (300 km). The way goes by Toktogulskiy
water reservoir - immense mountainous artificial lake, situated
at the altitude of 1100 m. Further up along picturesque valley of
Chichkan river to pass Ala-Bel (3200 m). Wonderful view to Suusamirskaya
valley is revealed |
| Day 6 |
Transfer to Son-Kul lake (200 km). You’ll see the mountainous
lake, situated at the altitude of 3000 m. Its severe beauty will
not let you to be indifferent. Descent to the valley Kokdjar to
the forest’s zone for overnight. |
| Day 7 |
Transfer to Tash-Rabat (250 km) - the old caravan-satai, via Naryn
city. On the way you will visit ruins of ancient fortress Komoui-Kurgon.
Caravan-sarai Tash-rabat was protecting by Kashgari silk caravans
from snowstorms and bandits before Tamerlane or even Genghis khan
was born. Overnight in the tents or yurts. |
| Day 8 |
Transfer to Torugart pass (3752 m) takes about 3 hrs on the unmetalled
road via Tez-Bel pass (3570 m). |

BISHKEK-NARIN (TASH-RABAT)-TORUGART PASS
| The tour is taken place on the one of the branches
of the Great Silk Road. You will see ancient monuments, being
preserved till nowadays - Krasnorechenskoe city, Koshmoi-Korgonskaya
fortress, caravan-sarai Tash-Rabat. The distance from Bishkek
to Torugart pass is 570 km. |
ITINERARY
| Day 1 |
Transfer from Bishkek via Narin city (altitude of 3000
m) to caravan-sarai Tash-Rabat (altitude of 3200 m). Overnight
in urt or tent. The distance between from Bishkek to Tash-Rabat
is 450 km. |
| Day 2 |
After breakfast depart to Torugart Pass (altitude of 3752
m), distance is 120 km, time in the way -3-4 hrs. Meeting
with Chinese tour-operator at Torugart (Arch) Pass at 12:
00. |
| Day 3 |
On the way from Bishkek to Torugart you will see Chu river,
Orto-Tokoiskoe water reservoir, Kirgiz villages (Ivanovka,
Orlovka, Kochkorka, Dolon - 3030 m, Tuz-Bel - 3570 m). |

FROM UZBEKISTAN TO KYRGIZSTAN
AND KAZAKHSTAN
 The
